Essence Of Christmas

                        Philippines has the longest celebration of Christmas. When the "Ber" month is coming, the Christmas is getting nearer. And Christmas one of the most important occasion in this world because we are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.

                       Some people says that the essence of  Christmas is to celebrate, forgetting and forgiving, some says, it's gift giving. But for me, the essence of Christmas is enjoying, to be happy, to forget the problems, to forgive the enemies and most of all it is the time to love one another. If we will not enjoy, forget the things that hurt us and the problems that we are facing, how can we be happy for Christmas? Christmas is not about gift giving but it's all about loving because love is the greatest and the best gift that we will receive for Christmas and our happiness and love is the best gift that we can give to God. Some people, when the Christmas is getting nearer, they always remember Santa Claus but isn't it nicer if we remember first God then Santa Claus? Christmas is the most special day for Jesus. And the essence of Christmas is to love first God, family, yourself, friends, enemies and all people surrounds you.

                       Make Christmas meaningful so that the memories will not be missed. And don't forget the essence of Christmas (LOVE) so that there will be no sadness in your heart and happiness will set you free.

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities

                         For me, equal rights, equal opportunities is a thing that we should respect --- the rights of one another, not just the men but also the women. Respect the things that women can also do and give the opportunity to them/us so that we can show that the things that man can do are also the things that we can also do.

                         In this generation, women are now getting stronger or should I say, we are now stronger than the men, intelligent, meaningful and most of all, women can do the things that man can do. We all know that this is not anymore an issue but we can do something better if we had an equal rights and equal opportunities because we will have an improvement in life, in our country and in our family. For example, in your family, sometimes the husband or the wife is the only working but sometimes the money is not enough for their everyday life. So it is better for the both of them to work so that they will sustain the needs of their family.

                         In this equal rights, equal opportunities, most of the women are now working and they have the right to do it now and also it is their opportunity to prove that they/we are not weak.

Responding To Climate Change

                  Climate change is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns over periods ranging from decades to million of years.

                  Nowadays, we are experiencing climate change because of our woks. The smoke of the vehicles and the plastics that we are burning. The effects of the climate change are also global warming, green house effect, la nina etc. And sometimes it causes from sickness/illnesses and sometimes from dying. If we'll not stop doing the things that can destroy our nature, we should expect the worst - tsunami, earthquake, landslide and hurricanes.

                   So we should stop doing burning plastics for the sake of our country and Mother Nature. We should respect our Mother Nature and we should not abuse it. We should know how to care of our Mother Nature.

               

REFLECTION

                    When the first grading have been started, I was excited and nervous about our TLE (ICT) subject.

                    I was so excited because we will be learning about computers (blogs,tags etc.). When our class started, we first introduce ourselves to our teacher. We didn't start the formal classes yet when first day of school came. But the next day we had our groupings and we started our lessons in ICT. And we start blogging our compositions and essays. We enjoyed every moment when we're in the computer room. And I am nervous because I really don't know if our lessons are hard. But now I know what is it. I don't have the worry and the nervous anymore. Now, I am enjoying my forth year high school life with my friends, classmates, teachers and the computer.

                   I hope that our ICT subject will be more exciting and more interesting.

PROMOTING DIGITAL LITERACY THROUGH ENGLISH PROFICIENCY

                We are all now in modern life. We are now using technology to be able to communicate with other people, relatives, family, friends etc. And most of all, to be fasten our works.

                In using technology, our life will be easier because we can make our work faster. We can also use this to find a job because nothing’s impossible when there’s technology we always use this in our everyday life because I know that most of us or should I say all of us need it. We need this not only for communicating, for fasten our works but also to take away the stress by playing some games in the computers, laptop, cellphones etc.

                We should use technology to make your life easier but don’t overuse and abuse it because it might kill you or it might ruin your life.

  

CHEMERGY: Chemistry and Science Club in Synergy

                 Chemistry and Science Club join together to be successful.

                 The Science Club decide to join together with the Chemistry so that they can improve more the nature and other related to Science. Likewise to the Chemistry. This Chemistry deals with the composition, structure and properties of substances and changes that occur in substance. The Chemistry maybe want to improve also all related to the Chemistry so that it will be more stronger. These two want to know the people that nature and structures and properties of substances are very important to our lives.

                 So, let us join together for the success of the Science Club and Chemistry.

" MY TEACHER , MY HERO "

                                Teachers Day Celebration... A very important and special day to a teacher. In this special day, we, the students are giving a gifts, flowers and a letters saying thank you. We are expressing our love to them in giving these things. A teacher is very hardworking person and intelligent.

                                 We consider teachers are heroes because they give inspiration to us. They are giving their best just to teach us well and they are all giving their knowledge so that we will become a successful person when the time comes that we are all be graduating. So that the knowledge they given and will be give to us will apply when we are working and that knowledge is way for us to be a successful person and i know that we will be proud because teachers showed and teach us how to stand in our feet. And also teachers are teaching us how to be strong when we are having a problem and when other people criticize us. We can't deny that other teacher are so strict and not so kind to us but I'm sure they are still heroes because they are also giving inspiration and teach us. Teachers help us in molding our our personality and talents when we are in school. And they are telling us to be a good model and citizen in our school, home, and to our country. And the most important role our teacher in life are, they are our second parents.

                                   So we should give important to our teachers and show our love to them not only in Teachers Day but it should be everyday. Make everyday a special day to our teachers.

" MY REAL SAVIOR "

                                As we all know, heroes are our saviors, protectors, and sometimes our best friend. But don't we know that heroes are one of our good role model. Just like our Modern Day Heroes, they can be good role model to us, and an inspiration for us to be inspire in our everyday life. Example of a Modern Day Hero are Parents, Teachers, Doctors, Artists etc. These modern day heroes gives inspiration, can be a good role model, saviors, and protectors.

                                For me, my modern day hero are my parents because they are the ones who gives me strength when I have a problem. They are the ones who lift me up when I'm feeling down and blue. I chose them to be my hero because they are my real saviors, and protectors. they know how to save and protect me in different ways because they don't want me to be in danger. And also, I consider my parents as my hero because I know they love me for who and what I am. And that love is enough for me to consider them as MY MODERN DAY HERO.

                                 I will not be afraid in waking up every morning because I know that my hero will be there to guide and protect me in every straggles that I'll face for that day.

SONA

                                SONA happens once a year, last Monday of July. Politicians, artist, or just an ordinary people were gathered. We, the people are free to attend the SONA of a President. A SONA is an important day for a President because it is the time to talk about the problems of our country, the positive or negative problems, we will hear it from the President. It is also a way to him/her to show his/her knowledge and strength to make the people proud to him/her.

                                 During the SONA of Pres. Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino, he mentioned the "wang-wang", the graft corruption, and other illegal activity of some government officials. They said that  his administration is working hard to stop the "wang-wang" and he presented the achievements of his administration. The audience gave applause Mr. President. After that, PNoy thanked the cabinet members for the support they provided for all the projects he planed. And he also thanked the Congress, the Catholic Church and the nurses. This were all about the SONA of Mr. President.

                                 A SONA of a President is important because he/she can talk about the problems of our country. To give advice and to make us proud to him/her. This is also a chance to thank all the people who give him/her a support. And the most important is to think or plan how ton solve all the problems.

                              Breastfeeding should be the first to be give for a baby because they really need it and so that, they grow healthy. Breast milk is the best milk for a baby. Like I was said, breast milk is very nutritious and also delicious. They need it so that they will become strong and healthy.
