MY DREAM, MY FUTURE

          Every people has a different dream. A dream that can make them content in their life. And some people use their dream as an inspiration.

            I am Diane Rae Agcarao, in short “Yan.” And my dream is to become a flight attendant someday. I choose this because I want to travel in a different country like America, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand etc. And if someday I will be married and have a children, I can proudly say to the other people that I have a job that helps my  family and in our daily life.  And my main reason in choosing this ambition is to help my parents. I want to buy a house and lot for them so that I can make them happy. And that is the only way in paying the sacrifices they did to us. But to fulfil this dream, I need to study hard and be patient in fulfilling this dream. I need to do my best so that I can reach my goal. The people surrounds me are my inspiration in reaching this dream especially my parents, friends and love one.

            I am thankful that there are many people who trusted my ambition and I am very blessed in having them. So, I will use them as an inspiration and not a hindrance in reaching it. This is very important to me. How about you? What is your dream?

CHANGE: IT STARTS WITH ME

            Change... A word that people want to be done.

            

            But the change will starts with me. I will do such things that can make our country progress even if it's a small thing. First, I'll clean my surroundings. Second, I'll help the barangay in cleaning and the activities that they will do. Third, I'll be giving love to all the people. Fourth, I'll be discipline. And I will be a good citizen of the Philippines. I know it's just a small thing to do but I think I can encourage or influence the youth, the Pilipino t be like me, to become a good citizen, to become helpful or to become discipline. And they will realize that they are one of the people who change their self.

            Change starts to you, to yourself so that things will become alright.

KANNAWIDAN: ILOCOS SUR FEST

          Festivals are such beautiful and traditionally/cultural celebration of the people. Some celebrate festivals so that their place and product will be known. Some are to enjoy. And others are to make their place become a tourist spot.

          Kannawidan is an Ilocos Festival. There are many activities held when the Kannawidan comes. Last Kannawidan Festival here in Ilocos, Siglat Ylocandia is held where the contestant will perform with there best talent. Many students competed like Mariel Garcia. Mariel's best talent is singing so she sang. There are also group of dancers. I didn't watched so I don't have any idea who won in this competition. I don't even know who were the other contestant. And I didn't knew what are the other activities held when the Kannawidan festival is ongoing. I think there are some artists went here. They give joy to the Ilocanos who were celebrating the festival.

         Festivals are really fun and enjoyable because it can take distress. Even though I did not watched this year, I enjoyed watching the Kannawidan lasts few years. I am encouraging now the people to watch Kannawidan festival. Festivals in Ilocos are great.

MY REFLECTION

         Mirrors can give you suggestions in your life most of all in your past.

         Last third grading period, I remember those times that we were happy, that sometimes I don't mind the things that can affect my grades. I remember that my projects are all rushed. This attitude or character I had can be the cause of my low grades. I am reflecting all the things that I've done last grading. I also remember that I'm not really reviewing. I know that not only these things were my mistakes during third grading.

         I should change all these in fourth grading. I want to become a more responsible individual so that all my requirements will be better and so that I can really be myself. I am so thankful. This reflection gives me courage to correct the mistakes that I've done in the past.

NEW YEAR, NEW ME

                    I really love new year because I know that many people will change.

                    Me? This new year I'll become a better  and stronger person. Like everybody want to be. I will change also my bad attitudes and I will become more discipline. And I should be dependent this year so that I can accomplish my goals.  This is me this year.

                     It is very important to me to become a new person because I know I can influence many people to become a better person also. And I can make also my life more interesting because of these changes. Life would be boring if you don't want to change some of your attitude or characters.

KEEPING IN MIND OUR MOTHER TONGUE

                          Different Languages are very important to us because it can make us professional.

                          When I start talking, my parents taught me the dialect "Iloco."  "Iloco" because we are Ilocanos and this dialect, I've learned many things. I learned how to used it properly. Days and years were past by, I learned how to speak Filipino and English languages. In this languages, I met different people because in speaking these languages, I feel free and comfortable to talk to them and show to them that I'm not afraid because I can communicate properly and differently to them. And I can speak to them fluently.

                          Languages are very important to me because communicating properly to the people is respecting yourself. So I hope that I can learn more languages so that when I go to different countries I can talk or speak fluently and I can communicate to them properly.
